The October 2026 Campout at Sherando Lake was the final campout for the Virginia LoW’s.  This last year was very disappointing with very few folks attending campouts.  The members in attendance at the October campout voted to  discontinue the group effective immediately.  The Winter Luncheon is cancelled.  The remaining balance in the ‘bank’ will be donated to one or more of the Virginia State Parks.

    Group members did want a way for members and friends to stay in touch so we have establishedf a new website where members/friends can post their camping plans so that others can join them if they would like to.  So, if you would like to stay in touch with former VALoW’s members go to the following link:
